In memory of

Gordon Victor Lawson

July 1, 1947 - June 23, 2026

Surrounded by family, The Head Honcho, Gord died June 23, 2026, at the age of 78 during a hospital stay after battling dementia for the past few years. He is lovingly remembered by his children Kimberly and Michael. He was a very proud and devoted Pop (grandfather) to Gregory and Miles. Gord is also remembered by his brothers Roderick and Gavin, and is predeceased by Donald. He is predeceased by his parents John and Marion. Gord was a devoted family man, always taking care of others. He loved to golf (he believed Jack was the GOAT), cheered for the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Buffalo Bills, The Herd. He taught himself many trades before the internet and liked to DIY. As Gord would say, “it’s good enough for now”. His main profession was computer programmer, he was a Certified Professional Accountant, stock trader and opened Aisys Technologies, a programming school. He was a fun guy, quick with a sarcastic wit; people enjoyed being around him. He was born on Canada Day, please give a cheer to Gord during your Canada Day celebrations.

A celebration of life will be held August 9th, details to follow. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or Crohn’s and Colitis Canada in Gordon’s name.
