Peacefully passed away on Wednesday,
December 31st, 2025 at Toronto Western
Hospital. Gordon was the beloved husband of
Heather Wilson. Loving father of Paul Wilson
(Tracy) and Shelley Ellis (Steve); and the
cherished Grandpa and Papa of Sara and Ty Wilson
& Kate and Keira Ellis. Gordon is survived by his
brother Norman Wilson (Maggie) and sisters
Judy Wilson (Andy) and Lynn Goldman (late Charlie).
Retired from teaching after 30 years, Gord was an
award-winning watercolour artist in Canada who
found his true happiness in his art studio, playing
hockey and sitting by the lake with a glass of wine.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 6th, 2026 at
Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1057 Brock Road Pickering,
from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 5:00 – 8:00 pm.

If desired memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by
the family.
