<div itemprop="description"> <br /> <br /> <b> Gooruduth (Greg) Maharaj 1937 - 2011 </b> <br /> <br /> It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing away of Gooruduth (Greg) Maharaj born August 15. 1937. Gooru passed away unexpectedly at William Osler Hospital in Brampton on July 13 after a long battle with so many miracles. Loving and devoted husband of Leela Devi and father of Milan and Kanchan, Aaja to Quinn and Ronin. <br /> <br /> Gooru was kind, caring and devoted to those he loved; a generous soul who always put others before himself. He was the catalyst for so many lives and he made lasting imperessions on everyone he met. <br /> <br /> He was mountain among hills and approached life with diginity and a positive attitude despite all the adversities that faced him. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends in both Canada and abroad.
