Gloria Marguerite Jenkins
August 11, 1939 - April 19, 2016
Gloria Marguerite Jenkins (nee Beaune) passed away peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital on Tuesday April 19th 2016. She was 76 years old. Gloria had many health issues over the past two years. She gave a strong fight but after much pain and suffering, she succumbed to them.
Gloria was born August 11 1939, in Leamington, Ontario to Armand Beaune Sr. and Eva-May ‘Monica’ Beaune (nee Couture).
Gloria worked at Cara Operations as a Supervisor at the CN Tower and as a Manager at their Danforth location. She was a Cara employee for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by her husband Stephen Arthur Jenkins; her daughters, Cheryl-Anne Iacobellis, of Barrie, Ontario and Shawn-Marie D’Astou and husband Paul D’Astou of Scarborough, Ontario. Gloria was the grandmother of seven grandchildren, Christina-Leigh; Matthew; Tyler; Laura-Lea; Jessica; Hayley and Aidan. She also leaves behind her loving sister Juanita Gatt, her husband Henry Gatt and nieces and nephew: Connie; Michael; Monique and Janet.
A lunch will be served at Pine Hills after the Funeral Service.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Association are appreciated.
