MALLOY, Georgina

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Georgina Malloy, who passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, at the age of 95. Georgina was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Malloy, and her dear son, Scott Malloy. She was the adored mother of Liz McKinnon and Tom Malloy, and a cherished grandmother to Rylee (Haley) Ian, and Owen McKinnon, Mitch and Brett Malloy, and James and Ryan Malloy, as well as great-grandmother to Ryker and Wrenly.
She will be deeply missed by her sisters-in-law Agnes Welsh and Helen Lambert, all her loving nieces and nephews, and her many extended family members and friends. Georgina will be forever remembered for her unwavering kindness, her boundless love, and her beautiful smile.
She truly made the world a better place and leaves behind a legacy of warmth, generosity, and love that will live on in all who knew her. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported and loved Georgina throughout her long and blessed life.

A Celebration of Georgina’s life will be held at Thornton Funeral Centre, 1200 Thornton Road, Oshawa, on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
