June 4, 1934 - April 10, 2025

After a courageous and lengthy battle, Georgia Cousvis passed away peacefully at home on April 10, 2025, at the age of 90.
Predeceased by her loving husband Tony; a devoted mother to Christina (&Bosko), Nicolaos (&Lianne), sister to Rita (deceased) and Efthimios.
For 60 years she excelled as an exquisite dressmaker, she was a devout Pentecostal Christian and a champion for the needy.
Georgia will be forever remembered by all who were blessed to know her.
May her memory be eternal.

Visitation at the York Cemetery and Funeral Centre 10:00a.m. -11:00 a.m. Tuesday April 15, 2025 with funeral to follow."

Thea,

I have known you all my life and you were always a beacon of light for the family. Whether you were feverishly cheering on the Leafs, lovingly making tiropites or teaching me about the life, you always filled the room with your smile, laughter and positive attitude.

Your resiliency is that of legend. I have never known someone that has come near the resiliency you showcased.

The biggest lessons I’ve learned from you were to never worry about what other people think, have the courage to carve my own path and do so with 100% commitment and passion.

I love you so much for the person you were and the man you taught me to be. I am so happy you are in the arms of your Lord and Saviour and reunited with your sister and your husband.

I love you, I miss you and in about 50 years or so, I’ll see you again.
