In memory of

George Stuttaford

April 17, 1947 - August 4, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Stuttaford, at the age of 78, after a year of living with cancer.

As a young man, George served in the Canadian Armed Forces as a member of the Canadian Airborne. He worked as a first responder in Toronto for 30 years, working his way up to Head of Operations at Metro Toronto Ambulance. George had many talents and hobbies and could fix just about anything. His enduring love of nature started in his childhood days in Rhodesia and Kirkaldy, continued with his participation in Scouts and Rangers in Canada, and culminated in many days spent fishing across Ontario, especially in his special place at Lake Anima Nipissing. George was predeceased by his beloved wife of 52 years, Maureen (nee Moran). He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Nicole and Kate (Grant); his grandchildren, Jamy, Kirsty, Imogen, Jacob, and Huxley; as well as his extended family and friends.

Family and friends will be received for A Celebration of George’s Life at the house on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, from 1-6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Dorothy Ley Hospice in honour of George would be appreciated by the family.
