George F. Sekely
March 22, 1931 - August 2, 2014
George passed away peacefully on August 2, 2014; aged 83.
He had a good and successful life and considered himself fortunate. He will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend Niki, children: Robert (Joanna), Sandra (Michael) grandchildren; Jonathan, Samantha, Dana, Leo and last but not least, Vita Brevis, his sailboat.
George was a very private person and asked us not to include any personal or professional history in this notice because he felt that those who knew him already know those details which would mean nothing to those who did not.
The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Prica at PMH for her care and positive attitude, as well as the Doctors & wonderful Nursing Staff at Mt. Sinai on 10 South who treated George with incredible dignity and compassion. Thank you.
The family will be holding a private remembrance in the fall.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to Mount Sinai Hospital or the charity of your choice.
To all his friends: Ave atque Vale
