<div itemprop="description">Gaye was born July 7, 1952 and was taken from us much too soon on June 30, 2015. <br /> <br />She will be missed desperately by her husband Stephen Landsberg; sons Ben and Aaron; her Montreal and extended family; and by many, many others who knew her and worked, played or studied with her. <br /> <br />Family meant everything to Gaye and her friendships were deep, meaningful and built for life. <br /> <br />A passionate supporter of the arts, learning and literacy, Gaye had degrees from Concordia and UWO and spent the last 15 years of her career teaching at Ryerson University. <br /> <br />She had a wry sense of humour, a very quick mind and a unique ability to connect to anyone that spoke honestly and with conviction. <br /> <br />Friends will be received at York Visitation Centre, 160 Beecroft Road (west of Yonge, north of Sheppard), Toronto, 416-221-3404 on Monday, July 6 from 4-8 pm. <br /> <br />Special thanks to Dr. Ko and the nursing staff at Sunnybrook C Wing. <br /> <br />In lieu of flowers, Gaye would have encouraged the direct support of independent arts and culture by attending dance, music, art, and theatre events. <br /> <br />Condolence messages, photos or stories may be shared on the pages above.</div>
