<div itemprop="description">Family and friends deeply mourn the sudden passing of Gary Boyd, on September 25, 2011, in his 67th year. Beloved husband of 25 years to Margaret Boyd (nee Crowe), devoted father to Darryl Boyd (Lea), proud and loving grandfather to Matthew and Dylan Boyd, loving brother to Judy Thompson (nee Boyd) (Geoff), loving nephew to Theresa Lammi (nee Lefebvre), dear brother-in-law to Royce and Ruth Barlow, dear uncle to Elizabeth and George Platt, Brett Barlow (Tiffel) and Heidi Kotylak (nee Barlow), loving son of the late Howard Boyd and Corinne Hudac (nee Lefebvre) and cherished friend to John Stimac (Judie) and Don Hanwell (Nancy). He will also be fondly remembered by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. As the National Sales Manager in the Pharmaceutical Industry, Gary earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and associates for his ability to make off-the-cuff presentations from the heart and for his team leadership. He had a zest for life and took great pleasure in spending time with his family, friends, neighbors and his new working buddies from Avis, discussing his love of sports, winters in Florida and life after retirement. Gary's departure leaves a huge void in our lives and hearts and he will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE, 1535 South Gateway Rd., Mississauga (Dixie Rd., 2 lights south of Eglinton Ave., 905-602-1580), on Wednesday October 5th, 2011 at 5:30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.</div>
