Fred Fook Tong Lau (劉福蒼) passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025 at the age of 93 at North York General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Yuk Ming Lau.
His three children -- Rose Kit Ling Lau, Bob Ga Wah Lau, Terry Ying Wah Lau (Bessi Chow).
And his two grandchildren, Sydney 劉雪儀 Lau and Oliver 劉健豪 Lau.

The Funeral will be a Celebration of Life with Chinese traditions, including the blanket ceremony and the burning of incense/worshipping of our ancestors. As such, floral arrangements would be appreciated.
York Cemetery recommends Alyssa Florists at 416-609-9202. They speak both English and Chinese and understand the Asian floral requirements as the flowers travel with the casket to the burial site to “line the pathway” to heaven. They will also have all the details of the funeral service.
If you are using your own Asian Florist, the flowers are recommended to be delivered the day before the funeral (before 5 pm) or Saturday between 9 am - 12 pm
