Flora Man Fung Hon passed away unexpectedly, on February 3, 2026 in Markham, Ontario. She was the wife of Alfred Sui Keung To and the mother of Kyle Long-Hung To.

Flora was born on March 26, 1965 in Hong Kong, China. She was the daughter of Hon Wai Tong and Wong Wai Chun. She was the youngest of her family, with two older brothers, Duncan Hon and Edmund Hon.

She came to Canada and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business. Following her studies she worked as an Administrative Assistant until she retired in 2005 to become a full-time homemaker.

In her free time she enjoyed playing badminton, playing with her two cats Ginger and Casper and most of all being with her friends and family. Her positive spirit and caring heart left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband Alfred, her son Kyle, and her brother Edmund. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 12 at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremation & Funeral Centres. The visitation will be held at 9:00am, to the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Forgotten Ones Cat Rescue, Canadian Cancer Society or Alzheimer Society of Canada.
