It is with deep love and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Enid Soobrian nee Yhap on July 7, 2026. Predeceased by her husband Rudolph Soobrian.

A beloved mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Enid, who was born in Blairmont Settlement, Guyana was 85 years old.

Enid was a kind, loving, and compassionate woman whose strength, independence, and unwavering spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Rosemarie Mallay, widow of the late Michael Mallay, and Sharon (Ayesha) Amin and her husband, Fareed Amin. She was a devoted grandmother to Devon, Imran, Aliya, and Aaminah, and a cherished great-grandmother to Ayah, Yahya, Ayesha, and Farah. Each of them was blessed by her warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love.

Her life was a testament to resilience, compassion, and an enduring devotion to her family. Her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., (416-267-8229) for visitation on Saturday July 11 from 9:00am - 10:00am. A Funeral Service will commence at 10:00am. Interment to follow within Pine Hills Cemetery Section 15, followed by refreshments.
