At the remarkable age of 100, we say goodbye to Emily Wendling, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Born in Germany, she immigrated to Canada in the 1950's. She settled in Scarborough, where she raised her two sons while working as a bookkeeper.

Emily’s Christian faith was a steady foundation throughout her life, shaping her kindness, resilience, and gentle spirit. She loved to crochet, bake, and spend time with her grandchildren, and she made friends everywhere she went. Emily is survived by her son Jeff and his wife, Dianne, and her grandchildren Julia and Thomas. She is predeceased by her son John, who passed away two years ago. Her legacy of love, faith, and quiet strength will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
