Emilio passed away peacefully on April 6, 2026, at Fairview Lodge Nursing Home in Whitby, surrounded by God’s grace.

He will be forever loved and deeply missed by his devoted wife of 58 years, Flor, whose life was enriched by his love and companionship. Emilio leaves behind his beloved children, Ayleen (Rob) and Randall (Shazia), and was a proud and loving grandfather to Amaya, Daniel, and Seleena, who brought him great joy and pride.

Raised in a large family, Emilio will be fondly remembered by his sisters, brothers, and many nieces and nephews. His warmth, kindness, and quiet strength will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Though he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the love he shared and the lives he touched.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at The Simple Alternative – Pickering (1057 Brock Road, Pickering) on Saturday, April 11, with visitation from 2:00–3:00 p.m., followed by a service at 3:00 p.m. All who knew and loved Emilio and his family are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.
