<div itemprop="description">Elzbieta Zofia Gierasimczuk <br /> <br /> <br />It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Elzbieta (Elizabeth) Zofia Gierasimczuk on Saturday December 5, 2015, at the age of 64. She passed peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto, surrounded by her family. <br /> <br />She will be dearly missed by her children Tom Gierasimczuk, Agata Filion and Matt Gierasimczuk. Loving babcia and grandmother to Isabella, Oliver and Luke. Cherished mother-in-law of Nicole Pointon, Trevor Filion and Jill Quinn. Dear sister of Barbara Tomaszewska, Malgosia Kadas-Kuc and Stasiu Falkowski (predeceased). Beloved daughter of the late Zofia Falkowska and Jozef Falkowski. <br /> <br />Elzbieta was a loving mother and grandmother who never had a bad day and always put others first with her caring, positive and selfless nature. She touched the lives of many and will continue to be a bright shining light in our lives. <br /> <br />The family will honour Elzbieta's life with a visitation at the Simple Alternative Funeral Home in Mississauga at 1535 South Gateway Road (905- 602-1580) on Friday December 11th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at St. Maximilion Kolbe Parish at 9 a.m. on Saturday December 12th. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery 11:15 AM - 12:00 PM <br /> <br />In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation. Friends are invited to send condolences to the family at the donation link at the bottom of the page. <br /></div>
