<div itemprop="description"> <strong> Elsie Theadora Hall &nbsp;(nee Weidenhammer)&nbsp; </strong> age 90 <br /> <br /> Born August 21, 1922 in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan to George and Ida Weidenhammer. <br /> <br /> Known as Dora to most, she passed away peacefully&nbsp;early Tuesday August 28, 2012 with her children by her side, after a lengthy but inspiring battle with Alzheimer's Disease. &nbsp; <br /> <br /> Dora is survived by her husband Martin, daughter Barb, son Dave and his wife Lina, all of Ajax. &nbsp;Dora was also loving Grandma to Benjamin, Rachel and Samantha, and dear sister to Eva Fines of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. &nbsp;She is also survived by many brothers- / sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and their children.&nbsp; She is predeceased by her sister, Irene Weidenhammer. <br /> <br /> Dora spent her final years living at Bay Ridges Long Term Care Centre in&nbsp;Pickering Ontario.&nbsp; Her family wishes to extend their thanks to the many staff there who had a hand in her care, with a special mention to PSW's Sue and Monica, who formed a special bond and treated her with the respect, dignity and compassion she deserved.&nbsp; During her many years as a Registered Nurse Dora always treated her patients the same way.&nbsp; Toward the end Alzheimer's&nbsp;claimed much of her memory, but our cherished memories of her selfless and loving ways will always persist.&nbsp; She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to so many.&nbsp; She will be dearly missed and forever remembered.&nbsp;&nbsp; <br /> <br /> Cremation has already occurred.&nbsp; Memorial Service details&nbsp;provided below.&nbsp; A private interment ceremony will follow. <br /> <br /> In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <em> Alzheimer Society of Canada </em> &nbsp; or&nbsp; <em> St. James United Church. <br /> </em> To make a donation, please&nbsp;click the <em> Donations </em> tab above.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <br /> </div>
