ELLY DEMAK HERLINA RIGG
Passed away peacefully on September 9, 2013 in her 73rd year, at St. Michael’s Hospital after a brave battle with cancer. Fashionista, sunglasses expert, world traveling adventurist, rock n' roll DJ, aesthetician extraordinaire, pet chicken lover, friend, gourmet cook, risk taker, tiger mom and devout optimist, Elly is survived by her lifetime love and devoted husband Wesley and her loving daughter Kate. She is also survived by her brothers Richard, Lengkam and Dompak, her sister Tiara, the Siahaan clan of North Sumatra, and an international family of friends from Canada, Australia, Indonesia and the UK, who will always remember her gregarious laugh and her sparkling spirit. Our thanks to all those friends and family who took such good care of her during the last years of her life. Also to Dr Brezden-Masley and the wonderful doctors and nurses at St. Michael’s. A celebration of Elly's amazing life will be held on Monday, September 23 at the MOUNT PLEASANT VISITATION CENTRE, 375 Mount Pleasant Rd (east gate entrance) 416-485-5572.
