For a wonderful woman, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother,
We will surely miss you and the world is saddened as we lose you from this place, but your spirit lives on. You are now reunited with family members long since passed as they embrace you with open arms in heaven’s kingdom. There is no more pain for you, no sorrow, and you will live on in our hearts and thoughts always. One day we shall meet again as you wait for us patiently.
You were kind and caring to so many, and in your quiet ways you still could express yourself with a sweet smile and a warm glance. You were there to pick us up when we fell, to comfort us in our pain, and most of all to celebrate with us in our times of joy. Although we feel great pain at having lost you, our lives are deeply enriched for having had you in them.
We will not forget you, Wife/Frau, Mother/Mutter, Grandmother/Großmutter – affectionately known as Oma -, and great grandmother/Urgroßmutter. I will always remember you, as I think many will, for your simple and kind nature, and I can still picture you working away in the garden with your boundless energy and your love of flowers, trying to make everything beautiful. Know that you have planted many seeds in your life-time and that those seeds will grow and flourish due to your love.
There are many here that you leave behind who love you so dearly. Thank you for who you were and all you have done. This is not goodbye, it is only farewell, in hopes that some day we will all be together again.
I love you mom, and I always will,
Your loving son,
Walter
