It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Eleonora (Nora) Molnar, who left us peacefully at the age of 101 on August 11, 2025 at the Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital in Toronto.
Born on September 29, 1923 in Kalocsa, Hungary, Nora lived a long and fulfilling life, marked by love, wisdom, and an unyielding spirit. Nora was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a beloved member of the church. She took immense joy in the simple pleasures of life — whether it was a cup of tea with family, spending time at the cottage in Bala, or sharing stories of the past. Those who knew her will remember her sharp wit, her kindness, and her capacity to make everyone feel cherished.
Predeceased by her husband Anthony Molnar. Cherished mother of Eva (Howard), Tony (Sylvia) and Peter (Khine). She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, Jennifer (David), Nicholas (Lauren), Diana (John) and Jeffrey; great-grandchildren, Lea (14), Jesse (11), Addie (7) and Ella (4).
