In Loving Memory of Eleni Monoyios

With immense sadness, we announce that our dear Mom, Eleni Monoyios, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, surrounded by her close family.

Our beloved Mom was born in Cyprus, and she was one of four sisters. She came to Canada in 1971 and married Savvakis. Together, they built a beautiful life and a loving family. She is the loving mother of two children, Stella and Dino, and she devoted many years staying at home, raising us with unwavering devotion.

It was important to her that we learn life lessons and grow into kind, thoughtful people. She lived with honesty, compassion, and integrity, showing us by example how to lead a good life.

Her love grew even more when she became a grandmother. Becoming a “Yiayia” was one of her life’s greatest joys, and she became known to the kids as ‘Kouklaki,’ a nickname that would remain. Her grandchildren—Amelia, Sophia, and Zachary—were her pride and joy. She loved them more than life itself, spending countless hours with them, having sleepovers, sharing stories, making their favourite meals, and giving them all her attention.

She pursued her passions fully, and through her work, she built a devoted following of clients who became some of her closest friends—people she cherished deeply. She loved her work passionately and never stopped giving her heart to it. She was truly an amazing human being—so classy, so sophisticated, and incredibly genuine. She believed in those closest to her and championed them with constant support. She had a remarkable way of imparting wisdom and strength to everyone around her. She advocated for her loved ones with immense pride.

Though we are heartbroken, her grace, teachings, and love will always live within us, present in our hearts and memories every day.

We love you, Mom. We miss you, and you will always live in our hearts.
