Peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Rouge Valley Long Term Care Centre, in her 97th year. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph and is survived by daughter Stella(Joseph), son Leonard(predeceased by his wife Anna) and her beloved grandchildren: Janet Wenckstern(Ralph), Jeff(Yvonne), her great grandchildren Nicholas, Andrew, Christopher, Erin, Caitlin, and her great-great-grandson William. Her last few years were spent at the Rouge Valley Nursing Home and we would like to extend our thanks to the staff of Meadowvale House for the compassionate care she received there. Friends will be received at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 12 to 1 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 1p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
