<div itemprop="description">It is with deep sadness we announce the loss of Edward &ldquo;Ted&rdquo; James Wise. Surrounded by loved ones at Brampton Civic Hospital, Ted passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 9, 2016. <br /> <br />Big hearted, kind, and caring, Ted was a beloved teacher, loving husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather. An avid driver, patient Leafs fan, and skilled cook, he lived life with a passion and humility that made him popular amongst everyone he encountered. <br /> <br />Ted is survived by his wife of more than twenty years, Karen (and her son, Scott Tavener); his children from his first marriage, Phil (Laura), Wade (Leah), Brenda, and Rhonda (Wayne); grandchildren, April, Christopher, Tonya, Amanda, Rachel, Jessica, Aaron, Ben, Samantha, Tyler, Cameron, and Megan; and six great grandchildren. <br /> <br />For those interested in making a donation in Ted&rsquo;s name, the family recommends Parkinson Canada or Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
