<div itemprop="description"> <p> &nbsp;LEDGERWOOD (nee: Bradbury), Edna Pearl </p> <p> &nbsp; </p> <p> April 19, 1924 ~ June 15, 2012 </p> <p> &nbsp; </p> <p> Edna of Belle River, Ontario, passed away peacefully in her 89th year with her family by her side at the Windsor Regional Hospital, Malden Park. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Ledgerwood (Dec. 2011) for 68 &frac12; years. Beloved mother of Bob (Lucille) and Linda (Martin). Proud grandmother of David, Lorraine, Bryan, Jeffrey, and Janine. Caring great-grandmother of Jacob, Carissa, Justin, Alex, Katrina, Celine, Amaya, Taliah and D.J.. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Edna lived in Toronto all her life until she moved to Belle River in 2005 to join her family. She met Lloyd in 1941 at the Palais Royal Dance Hall and they were married in 1943. Edna truly was the inspiration that brought our family together.&nbsp; Her favorite pastime was entertaining family and friends and she absolutely cherished being surrounded by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her short time in Belle River, she made many new friends.&nbsp; She was an active member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Lakeshore and a member of the Belle River Red Hat Society.&nbsp; Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY&nbsp;&amp; VISITATION CENTRE,&nbsp;625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough&nbsp;(north of St. Clair Ave. E.,&nbsp;416-267-8229) on Saturday, June 30th, 2012 at 11 a.m. until time of Memorial Service at 2 p.m.&nbsp; Interment to follow.
