Eda Lancia passed away suddenly on June 24, 2026, at the age of 90.
Eda was a devoted mother to Andrew (Neuza), Rossanna (Doug), Silvana, and Deanna (Walter), and a proud and loving Nonni to Vincent (Mariana), Stefanie, Jessica (Ramzi), Loren, and Walter Tito. She was also a cherished great Nonni to Isabella, Reina, Georgina, Luca, and Lorenzo. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family and dear friends, and by all who had the joy of knowing her.
Eda is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Vincenzo, her parents Andrea and Maria, and her sisters Joan, Nevis, and Dolores.
Born on November 26, 1935, Eda grew up in the Mimico and New Toronto communities, surrounded by family and lifelong friendships that she always carried with her. In her younger years, she met her husband Vincenzo, and together they began a beautiful life grounded in love, strength, and devotion to family. Their home was a place filled with warmth, laughter, and the comfort of being together.
Eda found happiness in the simple joys of life. She loved dancing, singing, and she cherished time spent enjoying a glass of wine, a cup of coffee, and meaningful conversation with family and friends.
She will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
