Frank was born in Hong Kong on September 23, 1954. He graduated from Bathurst Heights High School, and then graduated with honours from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto in 1980. He proceeded to obtain a Masters degree in Laser Dentistry from RWTH Aachen University in Germany in 2011.
Frank practiced dentistry for over 30 years. He enjoyed his profession, including publishing research papers as well as participating in peer-editing of notable dentistry publications. He also was an avid tennis player as well as a lecturer and instructor at the University of Toronto.
Frank is predeceased by his parents, Mr. Wu-Sang Yung, and, Mrs. Sin-Yuen Yeung.
Frank is lovingly remembered by his wife Cecilia Yung (Choi) of 25 years; his sons Eric and Patrick Yung; his brother Peter; his sisters, Lan-Chu, Shiu-Hing, Christine, Yuk-Yuen, Winnie, Eleanor, Pauline; his nieces, nephews, and other family members.
