Douglas William James Morton passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday March 21st, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, uncle, brother, brother-in-law, son, son-in-law, and friend.

Doug was always a source of genuine joy and brought laughter to all those he came in contact with. He spent most of his free time outdoors, creating, building and enjoying nature.

Doug was there for the people he loved in all the ways he could be. We will forever see him in the glimmers of sunshine and the artistic lines of nature. He is now reunited with his youngest daughter, Miranda.

He will be forever missed.
