Douglas Murray Langley
February 6, 1957 - August 23, 2013
On August 23, 2013, Douglas Murray Langley peacefully passed away after a courageous fight with Cancer.
All who had the pleasure of being a part of his life will sadly miss the man who means so much to so many.
Murray was born on February 06, 1957 in Lindsay, Ontario and grew up in a loving family. He loved nature and identified with the wolf as he was always the protector of his family and friends.
An electrician by trade he was a lifelong employee of the Chrysler Corporation spending the last 25yrs at the Brampton assembly plant, where he supported his section of the line in the body shop. Murray was known to “speak freely with his Supervisors” and support his co-workers.
Murray was an avid motorcyclist who supported causes like the Ride for Dad and has spent hours riding with his brother and son. He could regularly be seen riding down Airport road to work on a warm summer night with his favorite tunes playing in his iPod.
Murray’s haven was his home and family, he would spend countless hours puttering in his shed and garage or riding his John Deer lawn tractor.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lymphoma Canada.
