<div itemprop="description">With great love and sadness we announce Dorothy&rsquo;s sudden but peaceful passing the evening of Wednesday, December 30, 2015, at Sunnybrook Hospital. Dorothy was born in Toronto in August 1941 to Catherine &amp; Charles Graham and they predeceased her in 1995/1996. Both the Gossling and Graham families grew up in Leaside and were always proud to call it home.<br /><br />Dorothy was a life-long employee of the Toronto Board of Education retiring as the Associate Director of the Board.<br /><br />Dorothy was the loving wife and best friend of Robert for 54 years. <br /><br />She was the cherished and much loved sister of Ruth Graham Armstrong (Bill Jordan). Her special Havanese companion, Fernando, was always at her side and she loved him dearly.<br /><br />Her sister, Jessie and her husband Herb vanForeest (Sault Ste Marie) predeceased her. She is survived by their children, Cathy Ptok (Ernie}, Sudbury; Barbara Ceresino (Bruce), Thunder Bay; and Sandra vanBoerdonk (Mark), Sault Ste. Marie and their children,<br /><br />She is also survived by Robby&rsquo;s sisters, Blanche Boyden (Ahmic Harbour); Rosemary Burgess (Goleta, California); and his brother, Richard (Virginia) Gossling, (Newmarket) and their children.<br /><br />A special thanks to Dr. Parneet Cheema and Dr, Suneil Khanna, at the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital for their exceptional care over the last few months.<br /><br />According to Dorothy&rsquo;s wishes there will be no funeral service. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
