Doreen Guylar
October 24, 1930 - November 5, 2013
(Shirley) Doreen Guylar
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Doreen in her 84th year. Cherished friend and mother of Heather (Noreen Shanahan). Dearly remembered by former daughter-in-law Cindy Hook (Colin Williams), her granddaughter Bethany Cousins, grandson Toto Menzefricke, her great-grandsons Charlie and Andrew Cousins, the Campbell family, the extended Gaw family, Lillian and extended Nicholas family. Predeceased by her long-time partner Jim Campbell, her late husband Bob Guylar, brother-in-law Jim Guylar, son Robin Guylar and grandson Jordan Hook. She will be sadly missed by friends at Workers Health and Safety Centre, her quilting group and many other friends. A remembrance will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stoke Foundation would be appreciated. For further information and online condolences, please visit www.etouch.ca
Thank you everyone for your kind words and remembrances here and at the Toronto Star site, and also for those that have been received in the mail.
