Donna Marie Staniforth (Brown) passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025 at Trilogy Long Term Care at the age of 80 after a long courageous battle with dementia.

She was predeceased by her common law husband Jaimie (Jimmy) Payne. A loving mother to Alisha and Michelle who miss her dearly. She was an incredible Nan to her grandson Andrew (Yasmin) and Gigi to her great granddaughters Zakari and Cyrah.
Donna was also predeceased by her parents Horace Albert Brown and Rose Edna Brown and brother Ross and sister Patricia. She will be deeply missed by her sisters Debbie and Judi (Dave) and her brother John (Fran).

Donna was known for her love of family, children and animals. She was "Nan" to every child who came into her life. She loved all holidays and enjoyed decorating her house for each. She hosted all holiday and birthday dinners and welcomed any and every one with open arms. Although cooking was not her favourite thing to do, she was an excellent cook and often had requests for her roast beef dinner with her special potatoes. When she wasn't taking care of kids or cooking you would find her in her recliner doing word search puzzles or reading her book with her dog (Misty or Scamp) at her feet. She loved to garden and sit in her chair on the porch in the summer.

Donna made a huge impact on many people's lives and lives in many hearts. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
