DONALD JAMES ROE
July 11, 1932 - February 3, 2015
BTJ Plumber Retiree Local Union 046
With sadness in our hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Donald James Roe at his home on February 3, 2015 at the age of 82. Predeceased by his loving wife, Margaret. Dear father to Cindy, Steven, Lori and her spouse Tony. Devoted Grandfather to Steven Jr., Kyle, Marissa and Anthony. Fondly remembered by his sister Patricia. Predeceased by Mother Anne and siblings Francis, Helen, Edward, Joyce, Gordon, Kathleen and James.
Don worked as a plumber and was a proud union member. He was very happy to have recently received his 50th year commemorative watch and plaque from Local 46. Don’s lifelong dream was to win the lottery and buy a small home up north and share his winnings with his family. He loved it when his children would buy him Keno, Crossword and Bingo scratch tickets. Don was a funny and kind hearted person who will be forever missed by family and friends.
Celebration of Life to be held at Simple Alternative Funeral Centre Mississauga on Monday February 9, 2015 from 6 pm to 9 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
