Dominic Aquila, passed away peacefully on October 15th at Baycrest Apotex Centre. Dominic lived a long and fulfilling life. He is mourned by his son, Gregory and daughter-in-law Jennifer and by his sister Vi DiCecco as well as his nieces and nephews. His beloved wife, Lena (Di Fabio) predeceased him in 2005. Although he was born in Canada, he never stopped missing the farm where he grew up in Italy before returning to Canada after the war. Dominic was justifiably proud of his statues and his artistic work in concrete. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (78 Clifton Rd) on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dominic may be made to Baycrest Apotex Centre (please enter donation type as “other” and type “Apotex Centre” in the box below).
