Nov 28, 1948 - May 27, 2012

>>

It is with deep regret we announce that Diane Wilson lost her courageous battle with cancer in the early hours of May 27, 2012, surrounded by her beloved son, Patrick, and his lovely wife, Cheryl. Diane was the one true love to Bill; proud mother of Patrick; best friend to daughter-in-law, Cheryl; doting Nana to Kaitee and Caleb; sister to James, Annabelle and Marie; kind daughter to Granny Wilson and Grandpa Wilson (predeceased); and considerate roommate to Tabitha and Toshi, her cats. Diane was a very independent and strong person. Her proudest accomplishment was raising her son, Patrick. No matter how far away his jobs took him he was always in her thoughts and in her heart. She had a small, loyal circle of friends. Diane was small in stature, but had a mighty will. Her famous greeting was, "Wanna fight", which really meant you are one of my friends. She was a scrapper till the end. But Superwoman, has to rest too. Diane, you will be very missed but never forgotten. Friends will be received at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE, 1535 South Gateway Rd., Mississauga (Dixie Rd., 2 lights south of Eglinton Ave., 905-602-1580) from 10 a.m - 11 a.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
