Deborah Ann McAteer
February 1, 1954 – May 11, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deb McAteer. Deb was the beloved daughter of the late Beryl and Lawrence McAteer. She was a cherished sister to Sandra (late Robert), late Stephen (Shirley), Nancy (Joe), and Judy (Tony).
She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Krista, Robyn, Shawna (Steve), Jade (Mike), Sean (Nicole), Chase, and Brock (Allison), as well as her great-nieces and great-nephews Bobbi, James, Ryland, Madison, Skye and Hailey.

Deb proudly dedicated 37 years of service to the Toronto Police Force in Communications as a 911 Operator. She was deeply committed to her work, highly respected by her colleagues, and known for her professionalism, loyalty, and strong work ethic. Above all else, Deb's family meant everything to her. She was loving, caring, dependable, and always there for them. Her kindness, strength, sense of humour, and unwavering support and guidance will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Life will not be the same without her, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends

Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Tuesday May 19th for visitation from 1:00pm - 2:00pm . Funeral Service will begin at 2pm with burial to follow within Pine Hills Cemetery.
