<div itemprop="description"> <p> McClure, David:&nbsp;&nbsp; It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David McClure who left us peacefully on November 4, 2011 at Sunnybrook Hospital after a long and challenging battle with cancer. He will be missed dearly by his family, his wife Kathleen (McMahon); his son Daniel (Susan Witteveen); his daughters Krista (Peter Imhof) and Julie; his five grandchildren - Charlie, Grace and Hannah McClure &amp; Pierce and Elise Imhof; his sisters - Joan Ronsyn (Ed), Barbara Stanton (Gerry), Carol Woltman (Ray) and Christina Belanger (Paul); and many nieces and nephews. </p> <p> David was someone who loved to spend time with his family; loved the cottage, fishing and the outdoors and enjoyed much success from his career in business. He was a man of incredible strength, courage and fortitude and a great sense of humor that remained until the end of his life journey. </p> <p> Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 6th from 4-6 &amp; 7-9 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery &amp; Visitation Center &ndash; 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto, Ontario east gate entrance, north of St. Clair Ave. (Tel. 416.485.9129). </p> <p> A celebration of David&rsquo;s life will be held on Monday, November 7th at 10:30 a.m. at the Newman Centre &ndash; 89 St. George Street, Toronto, Ontario.&nbsp; At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Ottawa Integrative Cancer Centre (OICC), The Princess Margaret Hospital or the Children&rsquo;s Aid Foundation.&nbsp; </p> </div>
