<div itemprop="description">David Henry Dunsby, Born December 31, 1947 , Bridport Dorset, United Kingdom. After a courageous battle with cancer, died peacefully in his sleep on January 17, 2015, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Pre-deceased by his loving partner of many years Deborah Ann Waud, his parents George William Dunsby and Evelyn Dunsby, brother Robert George Dunsby. Survived by his sister Margaret Hall-Smith, nephew Tim Hall-Smith and niece Sonia in the UK. In the late 60's while working in a hotel pub in his hometown of Bridport, Dave was given an opportunity to be a crew member of a yacht heading to the United States. Upon arrival he decided to stay, eventually settling north of the border in Toronto, Canada in 1970. A valued employee for over 30 years at Rotesco as a Field Technician testing steel hoisting ropes in remote mining facilities throughout Canada and the USA. On one of those many trips he met a young lady by the name of Debbie Waud behind the airline check in desk in Toronto. That chance meeting turned into a life long love and lasted until Debbie's passing early in 2014. They loved to travel together, many times returning to the U.K. where Dave would enjoy regaling old stories with friends and family at the local pub. Dave was the ever sturdy rock for Debbie during her nearly quarter century battle with Muscular Dystrophy. Dave's final wish was that his ashes be forever kept together with Debbie's. In lieu of a formal memorial, Dave simply wanted friends and family to gather at a pub to raise a glass in his memory, at a future date this coming spring.</div>
