It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, and cousin, Daniel Roth, who passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 26, surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle for his life.
Daniel was born on August 30, 1998, in Toronto, and was, without a doubt, the most loving child this world could ask for. Daniel will be remembered for his kind heart, deep philosophical soul, witty sense of humor, intelligence, gift for languages and academic excellence. While having a gentle soul, Daniel had a strong personality and matured at an early age, loving his independent living tremendously. He developed a passion for investing, tutoring and music, and was an inspiring YouTuber with close to 19K fans. He touched the lives of many with his profound sense of humor, warmth, creativity, curiosity, and gregarious, outgoing nature.
From an early age, Daniel understood the importance of his health and led a healthy lifestyle, converting to a vegetarian diet, practicing yoga, and enjoying making healthy meals from organic ingredients for himself and those close to him. His favourite serving dish when he would invite you over was a homemade avocado toast and a freshly made smoothie. And it was very yummy!
He possessed a brilliant mind, a disarming wit, and an empathetic heart. He liked volunteering for the Big Brothers organization. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family, loved to live to the fullest, and was always up for an adventure. He made an impression on the lives of all those around him. Daniel attended Langstaff SS and Université du Québec à Chicoutimi and was fluent in four languages.
Daniel is survived by his mother, Zalina, and his younger brother, Robert. Daniel, we will never forget you, and you will always be in our hearts. You are honoured in our eyes, you are precious, and we love you! We hope to be reunited with you one day.
Merciful God, we pray for the soul of our departed loved one, Daniel, asking for your mercy to envelop him in eternal rest. May Daniel find solace in Your presence, and may our hearts be comforted by the assurance of reunion in Your kingdom. Amen
