Cleo passed away peacefully on January 15, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, devotion, and quiet strength.
She will be forever cherished by her beloved husband of 50 years, Glenville, and their two devoted children, Nicole and Francine. Cleo will be deeply missed by her siblings: Marcia of Richmond, Virginia, and Maurice and Pearl of Brooklyn, New York. She was predeceased by her loving mother, Leotta, and her siblings Grantley, Velda and Arnetta.
Born in Barbados, Cleo immigrated to Canada in the 1970s, where she built a full and meaningful life. In 1975, she married Glenville, beginning a partnership marked by enduring love, mutual respect, and unwavering commitment.
Cleo dedicated 25 years of her professional life to Ontario Power Generation, where she worked as an administrative assistant and was known for her reliability, warmth and strong work ethic.
Outside of work, Cleo embraced life with curiosity and joy. She loved to travel, explore new hobbies, and express her creativity through photography. A gifted cook and baker, she found great happiness in sharing her culinary talents—especially with her daughters—filling her home with comfort, laughter, and unforgettable meals.
Cleo will be fondly remembered by her family, friends, and neighbours as a kind, generous, and loving presence whose impact will be missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Canada.
