Claire Colombe Siegel (nee Lauzon) passed away at Michael Garron Hospital on May 27, 2026 in her 92nd year. She was predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Ernest, and by her siblings Romeo, Jeannette, Jean, Marguerite, Therese, Palma, Jeanne-D’Arc, and Irene. She is survived by her brothers Rene and Claude, her children Robert and Andre, her daughter-in-law Bonita, her grandchildren Tyler, Nelson and Cole and her great-grandchildren Zoe and Xavier.

Claire was born in Northern Quebec where she met her husband, and they subsequently moved to Toronto to raise their family and establish their lives. She was a part-time teacher, a devout Roman Catholic, and the matriarch to a close and loving family. Her kindness to everyone always served as an example to all who have known her.

She will be missed.
