Christine Mary Trottier, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and teacher, passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was 72 years old.
Born on December 14, 1952, in Toronto, Christine was raised alongside her two older sisters, Anne and Laurie. From an early age, she carried with her a deep love of learning and a kind spirit that would shape the course of her life. She later dedicated herself to a career in education, touching countless lives with her patience, wisdom, and compassion. Her gentle guidance and commitment to her students left a lasting mark on her community.
Outside of the classroom, Christine found joy in her many passions. She was an avid quilter, creating beautiful pieces stitched with love and care. She also cherished the many hours spent at the rink, proudly watching her children play hockey and cheering them on with all her heart.
Christine’s greatest joy, however, was her family. She is survived by her devoted husband, Kenneth; her loving daughter and son-in-law, Kerrie and Wasi; her cherished son, Michael; and her treasured grandson, Oliver, who brought her immense pride and happiness. She is also survived by her two beloved sisters, Anne and Laurie, who shared in her life’s journey with love and devotion.
Christine’s strength, kindness, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.
