Peacefully she passed away at Sunnybrook PCU on Wednesday November 10th 2025 with her daughter by her side after a long battle with Dementia and short hospital stay.
Born in Vasiliada, Kastoria, Greece. Predeceased by her husband Ioannis (John) Pogontsis in 1983 and son Trifon (Troy) earlier in 2025 and her siblings Sofia (Kiropoulos) and brothers Kosmas and Dimitri Marangos. She is survived by her daughter Anna Pogontsis, and will be missed by her nephews, nieces, extended family and friends in Toronto and Greece.
