After a courageous battle with cancer, Carole Yuen Chen Choo of Scarborough, Ontario passed away peacefully on March 16, 2026, at the age of 75, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Georgetown, Guyana in 1950, Carole was the eldest of seven children. She immigrated to Canada in 1970 and settled in Toronto. In 1973, she married her beloved husband, Alfred, who predeceased her in December 2023. Together, they built a life rooted in hard work, family, and community. Carole was a constant source of support in their many family ventures and took great pride in raising their three children and cherishing her eight grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her boundless generosity, her warmth, and her remarkable ability to bring people together.

Carole will be deeply missed by her sons Stephen (Kate) and Kevin (Diana), and her daughter Karyn (Bobby); her cherished grandchildren Kayla, Lauren, Brandon, Brayden, Sunny, Claire, Kelsey, and Remy; her siblings Agnes (Bill), Philip (Jackie), Eddie (Marie), Mary (the late William), Audrey (Dave), and Esther (Patrick); as well as her many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
