With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the peaceful passing of Patrick Ng- beloved husband and devoted father- on October 21, 2025 in Richmond Hill. He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of passing.
Born in Hong Kong on April 14, 1956, Patrick was the youngest son and second youngest child in the family of seven siblings. Raised in a traditional Hong Kong household that prized humility and hard work, Patrick carried these principles throughout his life. Patrick’s care for his family was evident in everyday things and the way he always put their needs ahead of his own.
Patrick attended the University of Hong Kong, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He later completed his Master of Business Administration at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and spent a year on an exchange program at New York University, broadening his global perspective.
He devoted most of his professional career as a Foreign Investment Banker, where his integrity, keen intellect, and unwavering dedication earned him the respect of colleagues and clients alike. His work took him across borders and spanned continents, taking him to oil fields in Brazil, shipbuilding hubs in Netherlands, wind energy in China, and rare mineral mines in Romania and Northern Europe, where he navigated complex markets and forged lasting relationships and meaningful impact.
Patrick was a giving and generous person who never sought recognition for his kindness. He lived by the quiet strength of doing good without expecting credit. His wisdom, patience, and gentle humor touched everyone who knew him.
Patrick will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 38 years, Rita, his daughter Jessica, and his extended family. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
A funeral/memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 1:00pm. All who know and love Patrick are warmly welcomed to join in celebrating his life of love, generosity, and wisdom.
Though his journey on earth has ended, his spirit will guide us always.
