<div itemprop="description"> <p> Chi Kwong Chan </p> <p> Born May 10, 1954 in Guangdong, China and passed away peacefully January 11, 2013 at Scarborough General Hospital, Ontario Canada, with his wife by his side. </p> <p> Kwong courageously fought a battle with stomach cancer for two years. He maintained his positive attitude through out the battle and enjoyed life to its fullest extent till his last breath. We all remember Kwong for his generosity, humour, selflessness, big heart, optimism and infectious smiles. Kwong did not win the battle but he did not lose the battle either, the cancer died with him and Kwong goes to Heaven. We all love our big brother. <br /> </p> <p> Kwong had a wonderful wife Chui Chun Chui who gave him unconditional love and unlimited support through out their union. Kwong was also the big brother among eight siblings and always looked after his wife, brothers and sisters. Kwong will continue to do that from Heaven. Kwong was baptized along with his wife on January 4 2013 and he had close friends and neighbours who are dedicated Christians who provided Kwong with love and support during the difficult times. <br /> </p> <p> Kwong enjoyed gourmet meals, fishing, golfing, cruise vacations, movies and mah jong games and he loved to spend time with his family and friends. <br /> </p> <p> Kwong is deeply missed by his wife, brothers and sisters, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends. <br /> </p> <p> Special thanks to all staff and nurses at the Scarborough General Oncology Clinic, Palliative Care team, Dr Rothenstein, Dr Trainor, Dr Zoberman and Dr Markus for the wonderful care Kwong and his family received during his journey. </p> <p> Visitation 10:00 am - 11:00 am and a Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at The Simple Alternative Funeral Home, 275 Lesmill Rd, Toronto, Canada M3B 2V1 416-441-158.
