Cheu Quan (Allen) Ng
July 11, 1930 - June 12, 2014
Cheu Quan Ng immigrated to Canada in 1961 with his new wife Yuk Ha to start a new life and family. They originally settled in Toronto, where their first child David was born. Soon thereafter,the family moved to Newfoundland where they owned and operated restaurants. They had another son Raymond followed by two daughters, May and Lily.
The family returned to Toronto in 1972. After working for others in the restaurant industry, the entrepreneurship bug struck again. In 1976, Cheu Quan, Yuk Ha and his brother Cheu Hung and his wife Emily started a new restaurant which they operated until retirement in 1988.
Cheu Quan was predeceased by his wife Yuk Ha in 1997. He is survived by his four children and seven grandchildren.
