It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cheryl, who will be remembered for the love she so freely gave to others.
Cheryl came into this world with her twin sister and second self Arlene as the daughter to Willie and Gwen. She was the cherished wife of Valdin; the devoted mother of Meredith, Nicholas, and daughter-in-law Tricia—as well as aunt and second mother to Bill, the son of Arlene; and a proud grandmother to Alyssa and Alex, who brought endless joy to her life. Further, she was a loving sister-in-law, aunt, cousin, and friend to family and loved ones across Jamaica, U.S., UK, and Canada.
Those who knew Cheryl will remember her as a beautiful and caring soul—someone who was always there when you needed her. She was kind and genuine. Her compassion, quiet strength, and unwavering support uplifted her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Cheryl lived her life guided by a deep and steadfast faith and a close relationship with God, which shaped her generous spirit and giving soul.
Her great and enduring legacy is one of love, devotion, and grace. Cheryl’s presence will be profoundly missed, yet her warmth and memories will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
