<div itemprop="description"> <p> Catherine (Kay) Agnes Fallis </p> <p> Died peacefully at home with family at her side in her 94th year.&nbsp; Predeceased by husband George A Fallis, daughter Barbara (Jeff Miller), and brothers Alex and Fred Bryans.&nbsp; Lover mother to George (Sheila Robinson), Catherine, John (Charlene Scime), David (Alison Mackay), and Alex (Karen Woolridge).&nbsp; Granny Kay to her ten grandchildren, Jed, Brooks (Claire), Pearce (Kira), and Zoe;&nbsp; Jessica, Martha, and Mac; John (Bronwen), and Akki; and Colin.&nbsp; She will be missed by sisters-in-law Lois Fallis, Elaine Bryans, and Jane Bryans, her dear friend Judy Dora and her many nieces and nephews.&nbsp; Kay was born in Toronto where she attended Branksome Hall and University College, U. of T.&nbsp; She devoted her life to her family and the wider community, with dedicated service to the YMCA, St. Christopher House, University College, and Trinity-St. Paul&rsquo;s United Church.&nbsp; For this lifetime of volunteerism she was given the June Collwood Award in 2010.&nbsp; She enjoyed attending concerts and plays, especially if members of her family were performing. Her grandchildren thought she was cool.&nbsp; Whether at her beloved Bruce Beach, at Trinity-St. Paul&rsquo;s Church, or in her many other circles, she was a gentle, wise and unconditionally accepting friend to all. </p> <p> Visitation will be held on Sunday January 27 from 5-8 PM, and a Memorial Service on Monday January 28 at 11 AM at Trinity-St. Paul&rsquo;s United Church, 427 Bloor St. West, Toronto. </p> <p> In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Trinity-St. Paul&rsquo;s United Church or to St. Christopher House. </p> </div>
