Carol Janice (Sterritt) Bright was born December 23, 1940 in St. Mary’s ON and died May 6 2025 in Toronto where she lived most of her adult life. A teacher of English and Visual Arts, she was also a sailor, gallery owner, and artist. She was predeceased by her parents David and Kathleen (Beavers) Sterritt, her son Timothy Charles Bright and brothers Charles, Donald, James, Alan and Gary Sterritt. She is survived by sister Marian Sterritt, Lunenburg, NS, and brothers William (Bill) Sterritt, Arnprior ON and Kenneth Sterritt, St. Mary’s ON plus many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 2pm in the Red Oak Suite of the Mount Pleasant Funeral Center, 375 Mount Pleasant Road, Toronto ON M4T 2V8.
