Brian passed away on January 13, 2026 at Scarborough Centenary Hospital. He was predeceased by his parents James Isamu Ohara and Ritsuko Ohara (Suefugi), and his brother Leonard Takashi Ohara.

Brian lived most of his life in Willowdale and attended Fisherville Junior High and Northview Secondary School. He worked many years in retail for Canadian Tire and Ikea.
Brian enjoyed camping and fishing and was a skilled handyman. He could fix most things that were broken.
Brian loved all of his Toronto sports teams, especially the Jays, the Argos and the Leafs. He always enjoyed his many trips to Mexico with his friends.

Thank you to the staff at Rockcliffe Community Care for making Brian’s last few years enjoyable.
Brian had a kind heart and was loyal to his many long-time friends. We had so many fun times together and he will always be remembered.
